Como empresa de Turismo Sustentable Responsable, nos esforzamos para trabajar en distintos ámbitos del Desarrollo Sustentable, entre estos:
I-DESARROLLO ÁMBITO AMBIENTAL
-Conservación de La Naturaleza.
Conservar y zonificar distintos sectores del contrafuerte cordillerano, especialmente los núcleos de desarrollo y zonas de protección del proyecto PROTEGE, para poder Intervenir con el turismo responsable estas Áreas naturales, con grado de protección ecológica y planificación de la conservación biótica.
-Conocimiento e investigación del Ecosistema Esclerofilo y Alto Andino.
Aportar ingresos económicos, crear instancias de participación, ayuda y articulación con organismos e instituciones de investigación, en el incremento del conocimiento de este ecosistema, su flora y fauna nativa, para su uso responsable en el turismo sustentable y otorgar información de primera mano para la sostenibilidad de este sitio prioritario de conservación.
-Reciclaje y Reutilización de Residuos.
Implementar en conjunto con otras organizaciones especializadas en la materia planes de reciclaje, reutilización y manejo de residuos, en los centros de operación turística de BIOTAVENTURA, para así crear conciencia y responsabilidad en esta problemática socio-ambiental.
-Calentamiento global.
Aportando con la concientización del turista, mediante la conservación de sitios naturales, los cuales nos proporcionan oxigeno, que mitigan los gases de invernadero por medio de la captura de carbono.
Por otro lado fomentar el buen uso de la energía, agua y recursos naturales, e incrementar el uso de transportes no contaminantes, LA BICICLETA, CAMINAR, CABALLO.
- Concientización, para el accionar ambiental.
Esta es nuestra misión como operadora ecoturistica así es que nuestro trabajo, es colaborar con la concientización ambiental de nuestros clientes, personal, proveedores y en general para nuestra red de gestión, para así crear la necesidad de que las personas pueden y deben cambiar los hábitos y tendencias insustentables.
II-DESARROLLO ÁMBITO SOCIAL
- Turismo Social: trabajamos involucrados con empresas PUBLICO-PRIVADO, buscando el acercar el turismo a los siguientes grupos: 3º edad, Organismos sociales de bajos ingresos, juntas de vecinos, Establecimientos Educacionales municipales, entre otros, buscando, estrechar este mito que solo es para gente adinerada y fomentar la importante conciencia turística nacional.
-Intervenir con el turismo responsable, Áreas con grado de Protección entre estos; barrios Históricos Culturales, Monumentos Nacionales, Zonas Típicas con Intereses Arquitectónicos:
Tratando de poner en valor la idiosincrasia e infraestructuras de barrios con historia y mostrándoles a sus habitantes que están en posesión de un patrimonio cultural, importante de conservar y difundir, para fortalecer la vida antigua de estos emplazamientos arquitectónicos de estos barrios y de sus habitantes, ya que con la globalización y presión inmobiliaria se han ido perdiendo bajo la efímera modernidad.(EN OTRA ETAPA)
- Involucramiento y trabajo en conjunto con organismos sociales y ambientales buscando la potenciación del turismo como agente culturizador, formador, social y educativo:
Desarrollamos Planes, programas y circuitos turísticos y de educación ambiental, en conjunto con las siguientes organizaciones; PROTEGE, SENDERO DE CHILE, CENTRO DE EDUCACION AMBIENTAL CANTALAO PRECORDILLERA, PARQUES NATURALES MAHUIDA, AGUAS DE RAMON, QUEBRABADA DE MACUL Y PANUL, fomentando la vida al aire libre y el desarrollo sustentable humano, económico y ambiental de la población.
III-DESARROLLO ECONÓMICO EQUITATIVO
- contribuir con un porcentaje del valor de los productos ecoturísticos, sean destinados como donaciones a los distintos centros y ONGs que trabajen y fomenten la investigación y conservación ambiental, en la Precordillera de Santiago.
-Repartir equitativamente un porcentaje del margen de utilidades, en los distintos núcleos y centros de educación ambiental, para la ayuda sostenida de su continuidad.
- Aportar con la economía local a escala humana.
